Ecstatic Dance by Range Of MotionOctober Theme: TBA (formerly known as Ecstatic Dance with Grundstoff & Ionstrom) In the framework of our new association, Range of Motion, our dance evenings are evolving into a bit more intentionally held and themed format.

The events will open with a session of guided movement exploration, inspired by the theme of the night, before the dance unfolds into a free ecstatic wave. You can participate in the parts of the program that suits you.

We encourage all participants to become members, for a continued fellowship and discounted tickets on all events, which replaces our previous early bird-system.

WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE?

Our invitation is to approach dance as a moving meditation, as a way to sweat your prayers and celebrate being alive, with all that it includes!

Have you ever been longing for a dancefloor where you can set yourself free to dance as if no one is watching, and where everyone else is doing the same? A dancefloor with a high and clear vibe - no alcohol, no small talk, no smartphones, no shoes. Simply a group of people moving freely, for the pure joy of it, the therapy, the medicine, the pleasure.

Whatever mood you might be in when you arrive, let it move. There is no agenda and nothing you can do wrong. The dancefloor is a potential self-healing place, a potential meditation in motion, a potential ground for meeting others in movement - or an opportunity to move to really juicy music. Come and let your body lead the way!

THEME 10. OCTOBER: RANGE of CONNECTIONWe want to invite you into a gentle softening of the edges inside and between us as we dance - an invitation to explore your Range of Connection.This doesn’t mean you have to do anything specific. Our intention is to create a space where connection is available, and where you leave feeling more connected to yourself and others. We believe this is best achieved when we are both authentic and daring.We want to bring attention and curiosity to different ways we can connect through dance. Deepening connection with ourselves. With our surroundings. With the greater essence. With the collective field on the dancefloor, as well as with other individuals. Also individual connections can take many forms - from subtle and energetic to direct and physical.A small spark to an endless ocean of possibilities!Our Ecstatic Dance remains what it is always intended to be: a safe space for free, nonverbal movement and expression. Interestingly, the term "ecstatic" in its original sense points to the experience of stepping outside our everyday sense of (separate) self and its boundaries.
